INSIDE SALES / TELEMARKETING – CLIENT SERVICE LEAD

Tulsa, OK

Job Focus
  • Inside Sales/Telemarketing. Outreach to set new-client sales appointments for outside sales force on Vanguard’s Environmental Management System (EMS), featuring “EMS Online!).
  • Markets currently include Tulsa, OKC, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Chicago, Cincinnati, Tampa/St. Petersburg (half days allotted).
  • Serve as Project Specialist/Client Service Attendant on “EMS Online!”
  • Once established, begin building a small department of CSAs as company continues to expand through U.S. and international markets (to include chemical regulations in Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan, Canada, and other nations.
  • Develop/lead Client Service Department and programs to monitor client satisfaction (i.e. programs like Survey Monkey).
  • Collaborate with Sales/Marketing Department for Service Excellence to Vanguard’s clientele.
  • Serve in Peer Review/Proofreading capacity for Vanguard’s client projects (requires nontechnical, but strong English skills).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of High School degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • 2 or more years of experience in inside/outside/marketing/client service skills.
  • Highly motivated, attention to detail, and ability to solve technical and analytical problems while interacting with clients in personable, plain-English style.
  • Strong oral/written skills with confidence to speak and train others in workplace.
  • Talented and Positive…Outgoing, Energetic, and Persuasive Personality.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Other) skills a definite plus.

Environmental Manager and/or Environmental Engineer

Chicago, IL

Job Focus
  • Field projects include Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Process/Wastewater Permitting, RCRA HazWaste Reporting, SPCC Plans, Toxic Release Inventory (Form R Reporting), Air Permitting, Emissions Inventory Reporting, Onsite OSHA/GHS Employee Training, and more;
  • Ensure site-specific compliance with each client’s environmental permitting, reporting, and employee training responsibilities through Vanguard’s systems, methods, and proprietary technologies;
  • Moderate travel within Midwest Region. (One- and Two-day run-outs). Most of Vanguard’s client base is within driving distance;
  • Collaborate with other Engineers/OSHA Staff for Compliance Excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Environmental Engineering &/or Management, or related degree). Professional certifications are a definite advantage (i.e., CHMM, REM, P.E., CSP, etc.). Air Permitting experience desired.
  • 4 or more years of experience performing Environmental, Health and Safety programs for clients operating in the U.S. manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Experience with federal and state EHS regulations, plus UN’s Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for OSHA programs.
  • Highly motivated, attention to detail, and ability to solve technical and analytical problems while interacting with clients in plain-English, personable style.
  • Strong oral/written skills with confidence to speak and train in workplace.
  • Bilingual language skills a definite plus.
