Position in EPA / OSHA Regulatory Compliance

Base Salary: $40,000 to $42,500
(Tulsa-Based) #1 National Leader in “regulatory compliance management” seeks career-minded professional / environmental enthusiast with teamwork spirit for environmental reporting position within our “Environmental Science/Technology Department (ESTD) to serve Vanguard’s clientele throughout the U.S. from our corporate office in Tulsa, OK. Federal and State laws with stiff enforcement penalties ($69,000 per day) mandate annual compliance. A debt-free company, Vanguard’s Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) professionals produce evidence-based compliance projects while clients are sold by our national team of Regulatory Specialists, then served by our Environmental Science/Technology and Engineering/OSHA Education Departments. “Environmental Protection” is projected to be a growth industry, at least, through 2032 A.D. Orientation/Training is provided for this employee’s position.

Job Focus:
- Analyze clients’ “Safety Data Sheets” (SDSs) for regulated chemical hazards under EPA/OSHA laws via Vanguard’s intellectual properties and technologies.
- Utilize Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Suite to build each client’s Regulatory Compliance Agenda.
- Compile Compliance Documents to establish each client’s Environmental Management System (EMS USA!, EMS California!, and EMS Canada!).
- Participate with Environmental Science/Technology team to communicate with clients nationwide and Vanguard’s personnel in offices throughout the U.S.
- Participate in peer-review quality control with the Environmental Science/ Technology team as the bar for excellence in regulatory compliance is very high.
- Research state regulatory compliance laws for state(s) as assigned, expanding Vanguard’s team expertise.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Environmental Science and/or Environmental Management preferred.
- Highly motivated, attentive to detail and quality work with ability to solve technical and analytical problems; Disciplined work ethic with focus on client satisfaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a definite plus!
- Interpersonal skills critical to performance with national clients & diverse cultures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Access)
- Experience with AutoCad is a definite plus!
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary + Health/Dental benefits + 401K-style retirement program; Paid vacation, holidays, and other PTO; Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
